As a Senior Business Systems Analyst within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Dallas TX or Birmingham AL. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint.

Job Description

  • This team does development for backend credit card systems

  • Provide information about credit cards once they are approved to other systems as needed regarding usage, payments, etc.

  • Perform as Liaison between the business and credit card IT staff

  • Analyze Business Requirements translating to technical requirements for IT staff.Collaborates with other technical teams where integrated solutions are required.Perform research of existing processes and documents as needed.

  • Work as part of an Agile crew, attending daily standups and typical agile ceremonies

  • Must be independent, comfortable scheduling meetings with Business users and other teams to gather requirements and create designs as needed

  • Participate in ensuring stories in Jira have all the information that is needed to complete the work

  • Update stories as they complete in Jira, work with testers/developers/users to assist in testing and troubleshooting problems as needed

  • Responsible for ensuring they have what they need to complete their work.Everyone on the team should feel comfortable to speak up if they need help, do not understand, or need more work, etc.

  • Work with the Business, Architect, Tech Lead, , Scrum Master, Developers, and Testers on the team to ensure work gets completed correctly and on time for each release

  • Be comfortable attending meetings both online and in person in the office, able to use Teams and Outlook effectively, as well as Word, Excel and Visio for documentation

  • Ability to troubleshoot Incident tickets as they come in, willing to dig in and ask questions, meet with users and developers, get enough information to help troubleshoot problems

  • Possess enough technical skills to be able to work independently in creating requirements and designs, work through documentation and job/process flows, etc.

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Capable of breaking down complex processes.

  • Ability to articulate the differences between what, why, and how a given process works.Analysis skills, ability to run queries against SQL tables

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to interpret and update data flow diagrams, source to target mappings

  • Experience writing technical requirements, proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio for creating requirements and design documents

  • Ability to develop testing criteria from defined processes

Nice to have

  • Ability to review code in tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Endeavor, etc. for some basic code reviewing for use in problem/troubleshooting with the business, and creating requirements and designs/user stories

  • Experience with MS Sql Server, Oracle Exadata, Hadoop, Db2 would be a plus

  • Experience on an agile crew, Kanban or Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint would be a plus for writing stories for developers based on business requirements

  • Ability to understand data file composition from cobol copybooks, json, xml, etc.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $45,000.00 - $108,445.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
