Dishwashing / Dish Tank Supervisor
Join Envision as a Dishwasher / Dish Tank Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising and working alongside a team of dish tank operators, dishwashers, sanitation technicians, kitchen utility workers, stewards, warewashing associates, and cleaning specialists in a commercial bakery and food production environment.
This position is ideal for candidates currently working as a Lead Dishwasher, Dish Room Supervisor, Stewarding Supervisor, Kitchen Supervisor, Utility Supervisor, Sanitation Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Catering Supervisor, Shift Lead, Warehouse Team Lead, or Working Supervisor. Unlike many supervisory positions, this role is highly hands-on. You will spend a significant portion of each shift performing dishwashing, dish tank operations, warewashing, sanitation work, equipment cleaning, quality inspections, and team leadership. • Opportunity to help build and lead a high-performing team RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and supervise up to 10 employees during assigned shifts.
• Work alongside dishwashers, dish tank operators, sanitation technicians, and utility workers.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, dish tanks, tunnel washers, rack washers, and warewashing systems.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Train, coach, onboard, and develop team members.
• Fill staffing gaps and assist with production support as needed.
• Conduct nightly inspections and quality-control walk-throughs.
• Complete sanitation documentation, checklists, photos, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, OSHA, and workplace safety standards.
• Serve as the primary shift leader for sanitation and dish room operations.
• Help maintain client satisfaction through high-quality service and execution. QUALIFICATIONS • Previous leadership experience in dish room operations, stewarding, sanitation, hospitality, food service, food production, warehousing, commercial cleaning, or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading teams of 5-10+ employees preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be 21 or older.
COMPENSATION
• Typical hours: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Facility operates 7 days per week, including most holidays
