Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – Greater Cleveland

6 Month CTH

Job Description:

Develop comprehensive project plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and milestones, including budget forecasting and resource allocation.

Manage project scope, identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress against project plans.

Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and leadership.

Stakeholder Management:

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across clinical, administrative, and IT departments to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Proactively address concerns and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Change Management:

Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and promote user adoption of new systems or processes.

Financial Oversight:

Monitor project budget, identifying cost variances and taking corrective actions as needed.

Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field

7+ years of experience managing complex healthcare projects in a hospital setting

Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints

Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) – Waterfall is mainly used

Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve issues effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at stakeholder management

Proficiency in project management software tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in healthcare administration or project management

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) implementations or other large-scale healthcare IT projects

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements

Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications
