Reporting to the General Manager, the Team Member is the first point of contact for all membership-related questions, requests, and concerns and is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to customers. This position requires work to be performed in person at the assigned location.



Responsibilities and Duties:


Essential Duties:

• Provide quick and friendly customer service to our guests within the car wash.
• Exceed Guest expectations.
• Learn and operate all aspects of point of sale and LPR systems.
• Oversee all property aesthetics.
• Create and retain new customer relations, including monthly wash packages.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of car wash and grounds.
• Monitor the wash quality of the vehicle.
• Learn and uphold the WE OWN IT culture.
• Conduct cleaning and hourly inspections.
• Be an Ambassador for our Unlimited Club.
• Communicate using proper dialog.
• Protects member confidentiality according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and related state and federal laws.
• Any additional tasks that pertain to benefiting the company and taking care of the guests.

Essential Physical Functions:


This job operates in a professional retail environment. Car wash operating hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00am - 9:00pm. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility, including both indoor and outdoor work. The job and work environment is fun, clean, and fast-paced. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, etc.
• Able to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing), detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information.
• Able to move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers.
• Continual standing, moving, and walking for several consecutive hours during shift, which comprises 80% of daily duties. Remain stationary for approximately 20% of daily duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
• Must be 16 year of age or older.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Successful completion of Tommy’s University training program.
• Basic computer proficiency, including, but not limited to, point of sale system.
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!

Salary and Benefits (Full-time status):

• Competitive pay $12.50 - $14.00 / hour + $0.75/hour with the attendance incentive.
