Worker
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable Production Team Members to support operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Team members will assist with various production tasks while maintaining strict product quality and safety standards. This position requires the ability to work efficiently on a production line and rotate through multiple job functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and handle raw food products on the production line
- Press and process pork bellies as part of the production process
- Hand-pack finished product on an assembly line
- Stack finished cases for shipment
- Rotate between production tasks as needed
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Maintain productivity and accuracy throughout the shift
Schedule
- Initial training will primarily occur during weekday shifts
- After training, employees should expect to work up to 60 hours per week , including weekends
- 2nd shift schedule (afternoon start time)
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to stand for the duration of a 10.5-hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Ability to work in refrigerated temperatures for extended periods
- Ability to work full-time hours and overtime when required
- Ability to work weekends and 2nd shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Working Conditions
- Refrigerated production environment
- Required PPE includes hearing protection, lab coat, eye protection, hard hat, slip-resistant shoes, cotton gloves, and protective gloves
- Floors and work surfaces may be wet or slippery
