The Barista role plays a critical part in bringing our mission, core values and coffee partnerships to life by creating delicious drinks and uplifting experiences for our customers to enjoy.

Qualifications:

• Specialty coffee/tea lover
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista
• Solution-oriented, positive and thrives on overcoming obstacles
• Loves to 'Focus on Good,' isn't deterred by challenges or negativity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to achieve results
• Able to multitask with efficiency and urgency
• Reliable transportation, punctual for all shifts and meetings
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to work largely standing, moving, bending and reaching
• Comfortable with wearing a headset, per drive-thru operations

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create specialty coffee beverages to company standards
• Provide an excellent, uplifting customer service experience
• Able to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Performs opening or closing task based on business needs and to company standard
• Maintain a clean, tidy and food-safe store environment
• Continual learning about specialty coffee and tea
• Shares coffee knowledge with customers in a way that encourages an approachable conversation about specialty coffee
• Maintains a positive, courteous and professional work environment
• Adheres to all cash handling, safety and security procedures- per company standard
