How You'll Make an Impact

This position will perform quality checks using prescribed testing methods and report out through the LIMS system. Additionally the position will complete training, participate in procurement of supplies, perform calibrations, support recipe management and supporting supplier quality initiatives.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities Include

• Drive lab safety and process compliance
• Follow all standard operating procedures
• Initiative to drive trouble shooting and root cause analysis
• Linking corrective actions to process development
• Develop a report with the operators to assist in improving quality control
• Maintaining a 5S workspace
• Support improvement projects tied to the lab and supplier quality
• Support management of lab supplies and consumables
• Perform lab testing, calibrations and basic troubleshooting
• Must operate in an ISO 9001 and Responsible Care 140001 certified facility.

What You’ll Need

• Associates Degree with a Science focus is required
• Bachelors of Science is a plus
• 2 years experience in a lab environment. Plus if experience is in a manufacturing facility
• Attention to detail, organization, follow through
• SAP, LIMS, PowerBI experience is a plus
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift, standing, climbing stairs
• Ability to work in a mostly temperature-controlled lab but some time will be spent on the production floor, warehouse or outside
• Ability to travel up to 10% to other locations
