About Us:

Thrive Collective is a multidisciplinary wellness centre that focuses on counselling. We serve the Fraser Valley area of BC and work very collaboratively with our community.

We are seeking dedicated, passionate Registered Clinical Counsellor(s) to join us as an independent contractor(s) working as Virtual Therapist(s).

We are a true Collective in that we are all independent businesses working together and supporting one another. We have sites in Abbotsford and Chilliwack and are growing our online virtual services.

Location : Virtual Counselling serving clients in British Columbia

Position : Contract Therapist/Registered Clinical Counsellor (Must be registered as an RCC OR CCC)

Responsibilities :

• Conduct virtual counselling sessions from within British Columbia
• On occasion, offer complimentary 15-minute consultations for potential clients, either virtually or via phone;
• Maintain clinical records and complete proper record keeping in a timely and professional manner;
• Engage in ongoing professional development and regular external supervision;
• Maintain good professional standing with BCACC;
• Hold professional liability insurance and a business license allowing practice in British Columbia.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or higher from a recognized program in clinical counselling or counselling psychology;
• Professional registration with BCACC

Requirements :

Evening & Weekend shifts - 4pm and later and at least one weekend day per week

Assets (preferred but not required)

• EMDR and/or DBT Training
• Trauma training

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $100-125/session details be discussed (income depends on your individual session rate)

Expected hours: 10+ clinical hours per week, Evenings & Weekends
