Were working with a well-respected healthcare organization thats currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and distribution in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations, including IV compounding, automation systems, and direct pharmacy support. Job Responsibilities

• Prepare medications based on physician orders, including packaging, labeling, and scanning
• Measure and mix ingredients such as emulsions, ointments, and powders using appropriate techniques
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing machines; assist with controlled substance inventory
• For trained staff: Assist in outpatient prescription sales and ensure compliance with state board requirements
• Use electronic systems (e.g., Epic) to review patient records, manage RX messages, and print labels
• Compound sterile IV medications using aseptic technique in accordance with proper protocols
• Deliver medications to designated areas, including medication carts, refrigerators, and nursing units, on schedule
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, rotate stock, check expiration dates, and reorder supplies as needed
• Provide support at the pharmacy window, answer phones, relay messages, and assist pharmacists as needed
• Adhere to safety policies and departmental procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential via PTCB or equivalent exam approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Comfort handling cash (for outpatient support roles)
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Prior pharmacy technician experience (hospital or retail setting)
