Collector / Underwriter (Consumer Finance)

CNAC is Byrider’s exclusive lending company. We are currently seeking a Collector / Underwriter to join our team in Dayton!

Rewards for Collector / Underwriter:

• Annual compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00

Responsibilities for Collector / Underwriter:

• Manage collections activities while maintaining positive customer relations
• Handle inbound and outbound customer communications regarding payment solutions
• Review customer accounts and assist with underwriting and credit decisions
• Evaluate customer information, payment history, and supporting documentation
• Assist with lending and credit origination processes
• Help ensure branch and lending compliance standards are maintained
• Support customer retention efforts through effective communication and problem solving
• Work within consumer finance and underwriting software systems
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Attend ongoing training and development classes

Hours for Collector / Underwriter:

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 100% onsite
• No Sundays
• Store hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
• Shifts will vary based on business needs

Requirements for Collectors / Underwriter:

• 2+ years of experience in collections, underwriting, consumer finance, customer retention, banking, call center, sales, or related fields
• Experience reviewing credit applications or making lending decisions preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
• Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work scheduled hours and remain fully onsite
• Ability to pass a background check
