Estimators at South Town Painting are the Foundation of our success. You are the first impression we make and the reason projects get awarded.
What you'll do
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates across a variety of projects
- Review plans, specs, and addenda to scope complete bids
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors
- Manage the full bid cycle from inquiry to handoff
- Track and report on key metrics and opportunities
- Support project through operations
- Continuously improve estimating processes and systems
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of estimating experience (painting or construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction documents and takeoff method
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Excel and estimating software
- Desire to grow and build a long-term career
