The Concrete Mixer Truck Driver plays a critical role in delivering high-quality concrete to job sites by operating automated mixing systems with precision and care. Working as an individual contributor within a driving team, this role involves managing daily local routes to ensure timely and safe transportation of concrete. The driver must demonstrate strong adherence to safety protocols and maintain their vehicle for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete mixer trucks with automated mixing systems
- Manage daily local routes to ensure timely delivery
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Comply with all safety and transportation policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle status
- Demonstrate strong time management to meet delivery schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of commercial truck driving experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Knowledge of commercial driving and safety compliance
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance best practices
- Experience with route planning and time management
- Strong communication skills
- Physical stamina to handle job demands
