Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Medicaid dental program, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and expand access to dental care.
  • Lead and manage a team of dental professionals and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to Medicaid services and dental care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform strategic decisions and grant applications.
  • Advocate for the needs of the community and represent the dental program at community events and meetings.

Requirements

  • experience in dental care management or public health programs, with a focus on Medicaid services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams in a healthcare or non-profit environment.
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, dental health disparities, and community health initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis, program evaluation, and grant writing.
