Material Handler

Job Title: Regrind/Recycle Operator

Location:  Frazeysburg, OH 

Schedule:  Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

• (2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch

Pay Rate:  Starting up to $19.25/hr

Job Summary:

Regrind / Recycle Operator will possess experience with safely operating forklift. Must have experience with material handling and general warehouse practices. Operator will work experience in a fast-paced industrial environment while working directly with production, purchasing, shipping, and receiving personnel 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities  include the following : 

• Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience with general machine preventative maintenance 
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions 
• Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and to independently troubleshoot 
• Read and record machine settings for continuous improvement initiatives 
• Meet / Exceed production standards 
• Excellent time management and communication skills 
• Ability to work both independently and with a team 
• Self-Motivated 
• Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures 
• Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology 
• Makes recommendations to continually improve processes 
• Performs other duties as assigned 
• Loading material from bins into machine hopper 
• Carefully observing the machine while it is running 
• Uses forklift to remove material from the scale and loading
• Helps load material into the extruder 
• Assembles boxes and sets up bags for bagger

• High School diploma / GED preferred 
• Previous work experience in a fast paced industrial environment 
• Familiarity with cycle counts, FIFO, physical inventories, and receiving inspections 
• Forklift experience: loading and unloading trucks; 
• Experience loading and unloading materials from pallet racking 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to independently troubleshoot 
• Excellent time management and communication skills 
• Willingness to work overtime when needed 
• Ability to work both independently and with a team 
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions 

Ergonomic Requirements:

• Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to use Power Tools safely
