We are looking for a Specialist, Storage & Transportation (S&T) Business Development, to help shape and advance Enbridge’s long‑term natural gas storage, transmission, and production growth strategy.

In this role, you will evaluate market opportunities, collaborate across teams, and lead complex projects from early concepts through key approval stages. This position exists to identify, develop, and deliver strategic growth opportunities that strengthen Enbridge’s market position while aligning with regulatory, customer, and operational priorities.

What You Will Do

  • Support the development of the Ohio Storage & Transportation (S&T) growth strategy by consolidating and evaluating market intelligence and customer insights, including working with market experts on quarterly reporting and project‑specific analysis.

  • Lead the development of storage, transmission, and complex distribution projects from initial concept through Stage 2 of the Project Lifecycle Gating Control process.

  • Evaluate project purpose, timing, alternatives, costs, and economics, and guide projects through internal and external approval processes.

  • Prepare and present clear, well‑structured recommendations and updates to senior leadership in support of investment approval decisions.

  • Lead producer services initiatives, new conventional production projects, and commercial agreements, including collaboration with industry associations.

  • Help build and implement strategies to attract incremental gas supply to the Enbridge Gas Ohio system, including Utica and Marcellus producers.

  • Serve as a key account representative, delivering strong customer service for renewable natural gas interconnects and conventional producer relationships in Ohio and North Carolina.

What You Bring

  • A university degree (we welcome candidates from a variety of academic backgrounds).

  • 7+ years of directly related project management or development experience.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

  • Strong written communication skills, including preparing materials for senior leadership review and approval.

  • The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences at all levels of the organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience handling and delivering complex infrastructure or energy projects.

  • A strong understanding of North American natural gas supply and demand fundamentals.

Working Conditions

This role is primarily office‑based with collaboration across teams and partners. Travel may be required occasionally to support project development, customer engagement, or regulatory activities. Specific working conditions will vary based on project needs.

US only Benefits

The salary range for this role is in the range of $130,000- $160,000 USD. *Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect colour coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.
