Summary

Seeking a Google Cloud Data Engineer to join a talented team to build a new and exciting data product. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills to engage business stakeholders and drive data transformation initiatives in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Build and maintain data architecture to support the new data product.
4. Optimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
5. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems for smooth operation.
7. Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time and batch data integration using Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proficiency in extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
• Leadership experience, with a history of leading projects or teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services industry.
• Skills in SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Data Pipeline tools (DataFlow, Datastream), Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, GitHub, Python, Terraform, DBT, Google Pub/Sub, Salesforce data integration, Oracle/SQL Server data integration.

Soft Skills
