CDL A - Part Time

Sirna & Sons Produce,  a fourth-generation family-run wholesale food distributor and a FreshEdge LLC company, is currently hiring CDL local drivers in Ravenna, OH. Our distribution network covers Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia, providing fresh produce, dairy, and specialty items six days a week to various establishments such as restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions. We take pride in providing our customers with only the freshest produce.

Compensation:

• Starting Hourly Pay: CDL $25/hr.
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Shift: Typically 6–8-hour shifts with start times varying typically between 8:00 pm (until work is done)
• Route: Deliver to cities across OH, PA & WV
  • Routes can be 15-25 stops per day
  • Deliver 300+ cases per day (up/downstairs at some locations)
• Level of Touch: NoTouch Freight, load & unload
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs with no assistance
  • Be able to use a 2-wheel dolly

Equipment:

• Freightliner M2 Trucks, International MV607 (2019-2024)

Qualifications:

• At least 1-year successful experience preferred, driving a Class A CDL tractor or higher as required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• DUI/DWI is eligible if over 5 years ago
• Possess a valid Class A License
• Carrier Safety Administration knowledge
• DOT physical examination and Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Speak and write English satisfactorily
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP score
• Organized and attention-to-detail approach
• Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures
• Drivers must live within a 40-mile radius of Ravenna, OH, or be willing to relocate for a position
