Job Summary
Is responsible for the operation of the production workstation to produce sufficiently and in high-quality within the deadlines and in compliance with safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Perform various tests on materials, including aggregates, asphalt, and concrete, using appropriate methods and equipment.

Document and maintain accurate records of testing results, inspection findings, and quality control measures taken.

Identify any quality issues and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and standards.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices while conducting inspections and tests.

Collaborate with other departments to provide support and guidance on quality-related issues.

Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, materials science) is preferred.

Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in the construction or paving materials industry.

Knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and testing procedures.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.

Proficiency in using testing equipment and software related to quality control.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Mix design experience and/or ODOT Level 3 Asphalt certification
Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting materials (up to 50 pounds) and moving around job sites.

Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noise.
