Massage Therapy Student Clinic Director
The Massage Therapy Student Clinic Director at The Dayton School of Medical Massage is responsible for overseeing the operations of the student clinic, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and education. This role involves mentoring students, coordinating clinic schedules, managing patient care, and facilitating a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in massage therapy, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for education. This position is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The clinic director works Monday through Thursday from 10:30am to 8:30pm. The clinic director also has their own room with a table, free use of linens and lotions, and can see their own clients while being on-site for the students.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the student clinic to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Mentor and guide massage therapy students in their clinical practice, providing constructive feedback.
- Coordinate patient care and ensure all treatments meet safety and ethical guidelines.
- Conduct regular assessments of student performance and provide necessary support for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and administration to enhance the educational experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in massage therapy.
- Current state licensure as a massage therapist.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to student development and professional growth.
