Vacancy Announcement - Reading/Mathematics Specialist - K-8QUALIFICATIONS: K-8, 1-8, PK-3 valid ODE teaching license; Structured Literacy Specialist ispreferred.CONTRACT: Per Negotiated AgreementSALARY: Per Negotiated AgreementBROAD FUNCTION: The Specialist manages his/her group in such a way that his/her goals andobjectives support and amplify the goals of the school district. The Specialist will assist in the functions of (1) analyzing data for identifying students for intervention, and providing small group, targeted lessons. The Specialist will (2) work cooperatively with classroom teachers to provide supplemental instructional needs for intervention during WIN (What I Need) time, (3)create and maintain written records concerning schedule, progress, parental contact, etc. In addition, the Specialist will (4) participate in MTSS meetings as needed, (5) perform related functions as directed by the building principal and (6) participate in professional development activities.PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION: Submit application, letter of interest and resume in one file via email to: [email protected] ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.Application can be found at: February 5, 2026
