We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Engineer with a specialization in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to engage with customers, understand their challenges, and deliver tailored solutions for IBMi workloads across on-premises and cloud environments. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving business growth and ensuring customer success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Lead and manage technical sales engagements, demonstrating our HA/DR solutions for IBMi applications.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop and deliver customized presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to prospective clients.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of IBMi technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Skytap, etc.) to support customers digital transformation and modernization efforts.

Address customer needs and technical challenges, providing innovative and effective HA/DR solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers understanding their business requirements and aligning our solutions to meet their objectives.

Stay current with industry trends, HA/DR technologies, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Handle objections professionally; respond to questions quickly; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively.

Self-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
Required Qualifications:
-
A minimum of 8+ years of relevant sales engineering experience

Knowledge or experience with IBMi Operating Systems (command structure and Menu Systems)

Knowledge or experience using IBMi Journaling and Logical Replication software concepts
-
Experience in Disaster Recovery using hot standby systems for application/business resumption following an unexpected outage.

Knowledge or experience using High Availability concepts

Familiarity with logical replication for building reporting or data mining requirements.

Understanding of multi-factor authentication (MFA) concepts for identity verification for system access.

Knowledge or Experience with RedHat Linux environment and Linux commands is desired but not required.

REST services and other application development skills and experience is desired but not required.

Genuine passion for working with customers and a keen interest in continuous learning.

Highly motivated and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks to satisfy business requirements.

Detail-oriented and able to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies.

Strong problem solving and requirements gathering skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

Possession of, or willingness to obtain, technical cloud certifications.
Travel Requirements:
50% of your time will be in the field, working at tradeshows and meeting with customers.?Information Security:

Annual salary range for this position is between $105,000.00 - $141,750.00 gross before taxes.
