Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Queen City Hospice – Southwest Ohio
Schedule: 12-hour shifts including every other weekend (Day Shift)

Previous Hospice Expereince STRONGLY preferred

• Triage after-hours calls from patients/families; determine care needs and delegate appropriately

• Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and involve interdisciplinary team as needed

• Coordinate care with physicians, interdisciplinary team, and external agencies

• Perform clinical pronouncements of death and provide compassionate family support

• Maintain accurate clinical records , care plans, and documentation

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current RN license in the state of practice

• 2+ years of nursing experience (varied experience preferred)

• Strong clinical judgment and nursing skills

• Ability to cope with emotional family situations and respect diverse lifestyles

• Current CPR certification

• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
