Position Summary
Workplace Solutions is seeking an analytical, detail oriented Financial Analyst to support operating expense management, capital investment planning, and financial reporting across a large, multisite business environment. This role is critical in enhancing financial visibility, informing strategic business decisions, and strengthening controls across operational spending, capital investments, and cross functional initiatives.
Key Deliverables
Partner with business leaders, operations teams, project teams, and finance partners to deliver accurate end-to end purchase order management, reporting, improve financial processes, and provide insights that enable faster, smarter decision making. This position requires effective planning, prioritization, and workload management in an environment with competing priorities where both risk and value must be assessed to support timely business decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive business results, with emphasis on monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, fixed asset management, depreciation, variance analysis, trend identification, and present trends and insights to leadership
• Support monthly period end close activities in collaboration with cross functional teams and maintain reporting accuracy across systems, ensuring data integrity and transparency in accordance with accounting standards
• Coordinate annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, partnering with budget owners to analyze assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with financial targets. Support project level financial planning, modeling, and capital investment justification
• Conduct strategic financial analyses, including forecasts, budgets, cash-flow modeling, and scenario evaluation. Ensure accurate accounting of contract spend exposure and timely resolution of claim exceptions to support close and forecasting processes
• Support an end to end purchase order process, ensuring compliance with standards. Promote the use of internal and external data for benchmarking and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting workflows, and improve system accuracy while strengthening internal controls and adherence to accounting principles, standards, and financial policies
Qualifications Key Experiences
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Finance or an analytical role preferred
• Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel
• Strong technical skills, including experience with databases and systems such as SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft applications
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prevent financial concepts to non-finance audiences
