Key Responsibilities:

- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with enthusiasm and professionalism

- Provide accurate information

- Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

- Document customer interactions and update account information as needed

- Maintain a cheerful and energetic demeanor throughout each shift

Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly, upbeat tone

- Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to stay positive and motivated in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred

- Basic computer skills

  • Computer literate and has experience with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Assures KeyBridge’s positive reputation is established and maintained through professional interactions and strong relationships with clients, patients, employees, management, and the public. Fosters relationships with team members.
  • Encourages and seeks opportunities for collaborative efforts, seeks understanding of issues, anticipates and troubleshoots problems, and resolves urgent and ongoing matters.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service to each patient.
  • Politely answers inbound calls and performs outbound calling which represent our clients in a professional manner.
  • Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills in challenging situations.
  • Retains knowledge to navigate multiple systems at any given time.
  • Provides accurate and timely solutions for our clients and customers.
  • Ensure adherence to legal compliance, company policies and procedures and holds the team to the same.
  • Offers suggestions and solutions to improve department effectiveness.
Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and communicate with patients to assist them in resolving their patient account balances
  • Basic keyboarding and the ability to learn & navigate our proprietary software
  • Good listening & communication skills to successfully assist patients on the phone
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one communications with responsible parties, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to pass the ACA certification tests when you become eligible
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level
  • Ability to understand and communicate with Spanish-speaking patients is a plus
  • Previous experience with medical insurance billing is a plus
