POSITION PURPOSE The Engagement Marketing Specialist uses strategic content to engage consumers and invite them to interact with the Kemba brand. This position will be responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing the Credit Union's social media, financial wellness, and member engagement plans. Note: This is not a remote position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES - Operates Kemba and affiliate's social media platforms.
- Engages with our members and staff through interactive marketing programs.
- Assists in the development of Kemba's financial wellness program for staff, members, community sponsorships and partner companies.
- Develops interactive and engaging content and communications via polls and surveys for members and staff.
- Assists in coordinating special events through our corporate and community partners.
- Works as a liaison with the Human Resources department for best practices in attracting and retaining talent through social media and other communication channels.
- Assists in promotional campaigns and designs with the Marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: A two-year college degree, or; (1) Completion of a specialized certification or licensing, (2) Completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, (3) Job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Company products and services. Understanding of sales and promotion techniques. Familiarity with social media platforms. Experience Required: One to three years of similar or related experience. Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Excellent organization and analytical abilities. Solid writing skills. Able to operate computer applications. Able to use graphic arts tools and supplies.
