Ohio Licensed Esthetician
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ohio Licensed Esthetician to join our vibrant beauty and wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional skincare and aesthetic services that enhance our clients’ natural beauty and confidence. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and professionalism
- Provide expert advice on skincare routines, product recommendations, and treatment plans tailored to each guest’s unique needs
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY, ensuring smooth flow of client flow and minimizing wait times
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards in accordance with state regulations and industry best practices to ensure client safety and comfort
- Engage in retail sales by demonstrating product demos, upselling skincare products, and promoting retail items to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Utilize social media management skills to promote services, share success stories, and attract new clients through engaging online content
- Support front desk operations by greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out
- Stay current on industry trends such as hair threading, hair extensions, makeup application, tattooing, and med spa treatments to continually expand your skill set
Skills
- Ohio Cosmetology license with esthetician certification required; additional certifications in botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, or laser treatments are highly desirable
- Strong management skills with experience overseeing client appointments and retail sales
- Proficiency in salon management software including Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about treatments and products
- Expertise in sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
- Knowledge of advanced esthetic techniques such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, nail care, and straight razor shaving
- Experience with social media management for marketing purposes is a plus
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
- Ability to perform complex procedures like dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments confidently and safely
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling and product demos to maximize revenue opportunities
