Job Title: CNC Machinist | 1st Shift | $25-$31/HR

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines in a job shop environment, focusing primarily on milling machines. You will work with Fanuc and MasterCam, utilizing G&M Code, and will be responsible for machining on various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc with very thin tubing material.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines, primarily mills.
• Utilize Fanuc and MasterCam for job completion.
• Read and interpret blueprints and perform precision measurements using calipers and micrometers.
• Conduct machining on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc, particularly thin tubing materials.
• Perform machine edits, set-ups, tear downs, tool changes, and basic machine maintenance.
• Create parts for machines in a job shop setting, involving daily set-ups.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years CNC machining experience with mills and manuals.
• Proficiency in machine set-ups and understanding the complete machining process.
• Experience with machine program edits and understanding G&M code.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain tolerancing using micrometers and calipers.
• Possession of a diploma or GED.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.75/hr.
