ThornCreek Winery in Aurora, OH is looking for event bartenders to join our team for our upcoming season!
Nestled among eight acres of nationally awarded gardens, ThornCreek Winery and Gardens is a magical and authentic winery, venue, and tasting room that hosts events up to 350 guests.
We offer competitive pay and a positive working environment.
The ideal candidates will be personable, well organized, and detail oriented.
Candidates must be able to work consistent shifts and have reliable transportation.
Candidates must be available nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
- Learn about ThornCreek's wine offerings and production
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
