Exploration Team Member (ETM) – Subsurface Specialist

Location: Lawrenceburg, IN USA

Requirement: Valid Class A or B CDL

As an Exploration Team Member (ETM) , you are the backbone of our geotechnical and environmental projects. You won't just be "drilling holes"—you will be performing critical subsurface investigations that ensure the safety and stability of major infrastructure, buildings, and environmental sites.

The Scope of Work

You will work within a specialized team to execute complex subsurface exploration using a variety of advanced drilling and in-situ testing techniques.

Primary Technical Duties:

• Drilling Operations: Execute a variety of methods including Hollow-Stem Auger , Mud Rotary , and Diamond Bit Rock Coring .
• Instrumentation Installation: Precision installation of specialized monitoring equipment such as piezometers , groundwater monitor wells , and inclinometers .
• Site Intelligence: Conduct site reconnaissance, survey/locate boring points, and perform soil and rock classification.
• Logistics & Maintenance: Manage the mobilization of tooling and materials; perform routine maintenance and field repairs to keep high-value rigs operational.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate technical field forms and DOT logs to ensure project and safety standards are met.

What You Bring to the Team

• Licensure: Valid CDL (Class A or B) is required for equipment mobilization.
• Experience: Familiarity with CME, Geoprobe, or Diedrich rigs is highly preferred.
• The "Field" Mindset: You enjoy working in varied outdoor environments and appreciate the "multiple-person team" dynamic.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to classify soil/rock and understand the mechanics of hydraulic and rotary systems.
• Commitment to Safety: Strict adherence to safety protocols while handling heavy tooling and machinery.
