JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make sound decisions for system approaches and tradeoffs in RF and microwave engineering projects.
• Assist in improving daily processes to ensure the Engineering Technical Team meets project requirements.
• Lead RF Engineering Technical Teams and promote a strong engineering culture.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to Program Managers and team members.
• Lead the Bid and Proposal (B&P) process by providing engineering cost estimates, technical writing, evaluations, and detailed solutions.
• Write technical papers, white papers, status reports, and application notes to support strategic and tactical engineering plans.
• Mentor junior RF engineers and guide Engineering Technicians to complete project tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with CAD engineers to capture design details accurately.
• Write test plans, reports, and system requirements.
• Drive methodology improvements in engineering processes, approaches, and tools.
• Interact with potential clients to determine engineering needs and convey technical competency.
• Improve overall productivity, quality, and timeliness of engineering deliverables.
• Develop customer relationships to support high-value RF engineering development projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in RF module and/or RF systems engineering.
• Technical leadership and subject-matter expertise in RF circuits and systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-driven with business acumen and performance management experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient in RF and microwave system design.
• Expert knowledge of RF electrical circuits and systems.
• Experience with proposal writing, technical documentation, and test plans.
• Complex problem-solving and analytical skills in RF engineering projects.
• Familiarity with engineering project lifecycle and team leadership.

PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert in Engineering Design Software tools such as Genesys, AWR, and SPICE.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage client relationships.
