We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team and perform industrial and commercial plumbing installations for new construction projects. This role involves layout, rough-in, and finish work for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems. You will frequently coordinate with other trades on active jobsites to ensure smooth operations.

Pay: $34-$36/hour

Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, rough-in, and finish work for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems.
• Install sleeves, hangers, carriers, fixture sets, and equipment tie-ins.
• Work with various materials such as copper, PVC, CPVC, and black iron, including cutting, threading, and soldering/brazing.
• Conduct pressure and leak testing to ensure system integrity.
• Read and interpret prints and isometric drawings to ensure installations are code-compliant.
• Coordinate daily tasks with site supervision and adjacent trades to maintain a clean and safe jobsite.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman License or 7+ years of verifiable plumbing trade experience preferred.
• Proficiency in working with copper, PVC, CPVC, and black iron materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings and apply relevant plumbing and mechanical codes.
• Ownership of basic hand tools and reliable transportation.
• Capability to work safely, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring standing or kneeling for extended periods.

Work on commercial and industrial new construction and renovation projects. The schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts, with potential overtime and weekend work based on production demands. The environment includes industrial and commercial jobsites, including new builds, renovations, and retrofits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
