A K-12 school in the Greenville, OH area is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services for students. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment, focusing on student well-being and academic success throughout the school year. The role is based in a K-12 setting with a caseload that also includes preschool transitions, allowing for a diverse and impactful scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including preschool transition assessments.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to creating a safe and inclusive school environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert remendations to support student success.
• Manage a caseload of K-12 students with the possibility of expanding from a 4-day to a 5-day service schedule.

Qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure applicable to the state of Ohio.
• Experience working with K-12 students and familiarity with preschool transition processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students.
• Knowledge of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and educational laws and regulations.

Location: Greenville, OH (Upper Scioto Valley area)
