A company specializing in manufacturing and supply is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to uphold the reliability and consistency of CNC machining operations through proactive and corrective maintenance across various systems. There is an opening on both first and second shifts with overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance tasks for CNC equipment in alignment with manufacturer and plant protocols
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities, equipment service, and logs
• Identify and address mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues on CNC machines and related equipment, employing root-cause analysis to prevent recurrent faults
• Perform component repairs/replacements, inspect, align, and calibrate CNC machine parts for optimal performance, and collaborate with PLC and CNC controls for operational testing
• Suggest enhancements or adjustments to boost machine reliability, efficiency, and safety, and contribute to process improvement projects in cross-functional teams
• Follow environmental, health, and safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and local regulations during equipment repairs
• Offer technical support to operators and production staff on machine operation and maintenance, and assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new CNC machinery

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance of CNC lathes, mills, or other precision machining equipment
• Proven background troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with PLC/CNC control diagnostics (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar control platforms)
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to work across multi-disciplinary systems, excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills under time-sensitive conditions
• Proficiency with blueprints, schematics, ladders, preventive maintenance schedules, and service manuals
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams
• High level of initiative, organization, attention to detail, commitment to safety practices, and quality-driven maintenance
• Able to lift and move up to 50-pound boxes occasionally
• Required to wear eye and hearing protection on the manufacturing floor, safety-toed shoes highly recommended
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Compliance with safety procedures and regulations
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, commitment to assigned shifts
