Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Akron, OH is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position offers a contract for the full school year, providing services approximately 20-25 hours per week with a focus on a 4th-8th grade caseload. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting students' educational and emotional development in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 4 through 8.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans and interventions.
- Provide counseling and support services to assist student learning and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Ohio state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
