Travel Surgical Tech Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Contract Surgical Technologist
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,022 - $2,247
• Shifts per Week: 4 (10 Hour Days)
• Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month (Fri-Sun)
• Operating Room Suites: 8 modern OR suites
• Hospital Locations: Miami Valley Hospital (Dayton, OH) and Atrium Medical Center (Franklin, OH)
• Location: Franklin, Ohio – convenient to Dayton and Cincinnati healthcare jobs

Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist (open heart experience required)
• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program OR Associate of Arts Degree in Surgical Technology OR 10+ years' experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Current CPR certification
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST, NCCT, or Armed Forces program) preferred
• Ability to work across all service lines: general, gynecology, vascular, urology, podiatry, orthopedic, spine
• Willingness to float between hospital campuses in Franklin and Dayton, Ohio

Surgical Tech Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled surgical assistance in CVOR and multiple specialties
• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms and equipment
• Assist surgeons during open heart and other surgical procedures
• Document procedures accurately and follow hospital safety protocols
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
• Float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center as needed
