Job Title: Maintenance Parts Clerk

Location: Frazeysburg, OH

Hourly Rate: Starting at $20.50/hr (Negotiable; Dependent upon experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Parts Clerk position is a critical role within the maintenance department in which the successful candidate will work in tandem with our Maintenance leaders & technicians to support parts acquisition and storeroom management for the successful completion of machine maintenance, new equipment installs, and reliability projects. This role requires a broad experience base including experience working in technical role within a maintenance team that had direct responsibility for both parts acquisition, and spare parts inventory and control. Previous part acquisition/management experience and/or order entry experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. They must demonstrate great attention to detail, adaptiveness, and a passion for continued development. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude and be capable of leading by example. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

• Will be responsible for working with the appropriate teams to obtain supplies and manage parts inventory within the maintenance department and project installation/fabrication team.
• Serves as an intermediate between key department leaders, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate acquisition of resources required for task completion. This would include: a. Work directly with vendors to obtain quotes, coordinate the entry of purchase orders, and oversee execution of that process. b. Develops parts kitting to improve efficiency of technicians.
• Be capable of working intimately with computer programs such as CMMS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and ERP software.
• Demonstrates above-average time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read, write and understand sufficient English to understand specifications and requirement relevant to parts acquisition, receiving and inventory.
• Must be multi-talented, extremely flexible in work assignments.
• Self-Motivated.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs
• Strong applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure

Ergonomic Requirements:

• Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to Push, Pull, Lift, and/or Carry up to 50 lbs.
