Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced and committed Ski Area Building Maintenance Team Lead who specializes in the maintenance and repair of commercial Buildings. The ideal match for this role is an Advanced Maintenance Tech or similar trade industry professional able to provide leadership, technical expertise and direction to all aspects of daily operation.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $26.53/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check Building / Refrigeration temps daily.
  • Keep track of Work Requests and assign techs based on priority.
  • Communicate with Management on emergency issues and safely organize an efficient response.
  • Run morning meetings when Management if away and set expectations for workday.
  • Have staff out the door in a timely fashion, ensure lunches are taken in a productive and reasonable timeframe.
  • Ensure both job site andworkshopp Cleanliness is being maintained. That Staff is returning tools in proper working order and to their designated locations.
  • Ensure work is completed by all team members. Ensure techs entering Maintain X paperwork in a professional and timely manner. Help techs source parts for Management to order.
  • Assist in Training and development of Team members.
  • Be a Positive role model and abide by company policies, guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with customers effectively and empower techs to do the same.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years related maintenance, construction supervisory, or management experience.
  • Trade Certification or Diploma in Construction or Engineering very beneficial.
  • Familiar with Building construction, building envelopes and various building systems.
  • Prior leadership and supervisory experience leading people.
  • Experience in overall project execution with the ability to understand and interpret a variety of documentation including contracts, blueprints and project specifications.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Effective and efficient conflict resolution skills.
  • Solid administrative and computer skills.
  • Experience with work order or asset management software.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with an emphasis on relationships and team leadership.
  • Committed to quality, client care, teamwork and safety.
  • Valid driver’s license.

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $26.53/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
