As a Kids Town Teacher, you are:

• Creative & Curious – You bring imagination into the classroom, delivering engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that encourages discovery and growth.

• Hands-On & Engaged – You actively participate in classroom activities, observe developmental milestones, and tailor plans to meet children’s individual needs.

• Committed to Growth – You take part in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead age-appropriate lessons and hands-on activities.

• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and supported.

• Supervise and interact with children during learning and play.

• Track each child’s development and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain a consistent and positive classroom environment.

• Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding their child’s progress.

• Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• 1+ year experience in a daycare, preschool, or early learning setting (preferred).

• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques is a plus.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

Location Requirement

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Brunswick, OH 44212 prior to starting the position.
