Pay: $51,000 – $58,000 annually, based on licensure and experience

Whether you're a newly licensed professional or a seasoned clinician, Woodhaven invites you to join our compassionate, mission-driven care team. We're hiring full-time licensed addiction counselors to provide therapeutic support for adult clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders at our Dayton residential facility.

• About the Role

As a Licensed Addiction Counselor at Woodhaven, you'll deliver high-quality care through individual and group therapy, treatment planning, clinical assessments, and case management — all within a supportive, collaborative environment.

• This opportunity is open to licensed professionals only, including:

LCDCII, LCDCIII, LICDC

LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S

LSW, LISW, LISW-S

Or any equivalent licensure recognized by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board or CSWMFT Board

• Key Responsibilities

Facilitate individual and group counseling using evidence-based models (CBT, MI, trauma-informed care)

Complete intake assessments, ASAMs, biopsychosocials, and diagnostic summaries

Create and update individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with case management, nursing, and medical staff for whole-person care

Provide crisis intervention when clients experience relapse triggers or distress

Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the EHR system

Participate in team meetings, audits, and staff trainings

• What You Bring

Active Ohio license (LCDCII, LCDCIII, LICDC, LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or equivalent)

CPR certification (required before start – company-sponsored if needed)

Passion for client-centered care, growth, and recovery support

Experience with SUD and co-occurring disorders preferred (but not required)

Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
