Graduate Assistant - Wrestling
Muskingum University invites applications for a Graduate Assistant in Wrestling. This position is responsible for assisting in the overall coaching and management of the men's wrestling team, at the direction of the head coach.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in all aspects of recruiting prospective student-athletes, including mailings, Front Rush, text/calls, off campus evaluations, and campus visits.
- Assist with all practice planning and execution.
- Assist the head coach in competition and travel preparation.
- Assist the head coach with assigned administrative duties, such as event scheduling, budget management, procurement of equipment, and fundraising.
- Assist the head coach with competition preparation.
- Assist with conducting pre-season, in-season, and post-season conditioning/lifting, within the guidelines and bylaws of the NCAA Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference
- May be assigned limited teaching opportunities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Undergraduate degree.
- Acceptance or ability to be accepted into Muskingum University Graduate Program.
- Strong collegiate background in wrestling.
- Ability to collaborate and participate as an active member of the athletic department and the University community.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
