Mainframe Developer (USC and GC) - W2

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in modernization, analysis, and production support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with mainframe technologies, database optimization, and batch processing systems.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Work Mode: 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week)
Open Positions: 1 (Backfill)
Visa: OPT/USC/GC candidates are eligible
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mainframe modernization activities
Analyze existing mainframe code and prepare detailed documentation
Work on mainframe batch processing and stored procedures
Handle migration efforts focused on stored procedures
Analyze and optimize DB2 queries , including rewriting queries for schema decoupling
Manage job scheduling using Control-M
Handle version control using Changeman
Provide production support , including debugging and resolving issues
Manage file transfers using MFTS/NDM
Job requirements
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Mainframe Development & Modernization
Expertise in Mainframe Stored Procedures
Hands-on experience with DB2 (Query Analysis & Optimization)
Experience with Control-M Scheduling
Knowledge of Changeman Version Control
Strong Production Support & Debugging skills
Experience with MFTS / NDM File Transfer
