About the Job

Furnace Line Operator - Afternoon /Night Shift.

• Primary function: Load and unload material from continuous pusher-style furnaces.
• Once the material is out, an evaluation of the electrical properties of the material must be conducted.
• This is a hands-on, physically active role in a high-heat, dusty production environment .
• No prior experience is required— we provide full training!
• Department: Production (Moly-D).
• Regular Schedule: Mon–Wed: 3:00 PM – 2:30 AM , and Thur: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Training Schedule (1st Week): Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM — working alongside our main furnace operator for hands-on training.
• After training, the position transitions to the regular night shift schedule above.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read time on a clock.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Comfortable working in high-heat, dusty environments.
• Able to read and record furnace times correctly.
• Basic mechanical ability and an eye for material quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective time management; follows assignments through to completion.
• Conscientious, punctual, and dependable.
• Must have reliable transportation.
