Banking Group Portfolio Management (BGPM)
KeyBank’s BGPM Corporate Banking team is responsible for underwriting, structuring, managing and monitoring loan portfolios on KeyBank’s balance sheet for KBCM clients. The group specializes along industries, utilizing its knowledge of those sectors to provide flawless execution for clients. Industry verticals include Diversified, Leveraged Finance, Healthcare, Utilities, Power and Renewable Energy and Oil and Gas. As of March 31, 2024, loan commitments under management by the group totaled more than $50 billion.
This position will support the Utilities, Power and Renewable Energy (UPRE) BGPM team. The group manages more than $12 billion in bank commitments to investor-owned utilities, renewable energy companies and project finance transactions in wind, solar and storage assets throughout the United States. The KBCM Renewable Energy practice consistently ranks at the top of the league tables in North American Renewable Energy financings. The team is high-energy, collaborative and knowledgeable in its industry and markets.
Job duties may include:
Providing due diligence on clients, industry trends and individual deals
Assisting in the preparation of loan applications
Reviewing financial models and creating projections for project deals
Working on special projects to improve team efficiencies.
Managing data from client reporting requirements
Required Qualifications:
Rising juniors enrolled in a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, economics, or accounting graduating by May of 2028
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a weekly salary amount of $1,340 per week. Summer Analysts in this position are eligible for overtime compensation which is paid in accordance with the Fluctuating Workweek Method. Compensation also includes a $2,000 Summer Analyst Sign-on Bonus
