Overview
Registered Nurse – PACU in Lancaster, Ohio. Start date: August 17, 2026. This travel, temporary assignment runs for 8 weeks with guaranteed hours of 36 per week and a pay range of $2,066 to $2,177 per week. Shift pattern consists of four 9-hour day shifts (8:30 AM–6:00 PM) with weekend call every 6 weeks and night on-call 4–5 nights per 6-week cycle. Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PACU patients using the nursing process
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely; document accordingly
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
- Notify and collaborate with physicians about pertinent changes in patient status
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care; report malfunctions promptly
- Supervise and direct the work of nursing assistants as appropriate

Requirements
- Valid registered nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio; CPR required
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Experience: Previous RN experience preferred
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; critical thinking; ability to handle multiple priorities; capable of making independent decisions
- Ability to work in a PACU/short-term acute care environment and comply with facility policies
