Project Scheduler
job summary:
A Project Scheduler is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This role requires experience to independently develop, baseline, and analyze complex project schedules using critical path methodology and resource leveling within a utility or construction environment.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate team activities and support Project Managers as a dedicated scheduler and commodity tracker.
- Develop and maintain intermediate to complex project schedules using assigned software with minimal supervision.
- Define activity durations, work sequences, and relationship logic to establish key project milestones.
- Integrate resource loading and leveling into schedules to ensure all deliverables and scope are accounted for.
- Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders, providing clear minutes and tracking action items.
- Analyze schedule risks and issues, alerting the team to potential delays in milestones.
- Maintain system security, reporting, and daily operations of project management software and KPIs.
- Use critical path methodology to update progress, baseline schedules, and develop commodity curves.
- Perform schedule and cost integration, including the calculation and reporting of SPI and CPI metrics.
- With a High School Diploma or GED, 6 years' qualified experience.
- With a qualified Associate's degree, 4 years' qualified experience.
- With a qualified Bachelor's degree, 2 years' qualified experience required.
- Qualified degrees must be in a related field from an accredited university or college and could include Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Qualified experience includes utility specific operations knowledge/experience with a good working knowledge of work processes and procedures.
- Experience should be in operations, planning, project management, and/or construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
- Scheduling experience in utilities or construction management.
