Status: Part-Time (16–20 hours per week)
Compensation: $14–$18 per hour (based on experience) + Mileage Reimbursement

Job Summary

Yanich Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is seeking a dynamic, organized, and personable Marketing & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This energetic and multifaceted role is essential to the smooth daily operation of our practice and supports both administrative functions and marketing/community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and eager to grow their administrative and marketing skill set in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

About the Role

This position serves as a key bridge between our practice, our patients, and the local dental community. You will provide front office and administrative support while also assisting with marketing efforts and visiting local referring dental offices to maintain strong professional relationships. This is a paid, part-time opportunity with a flexible daytime schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

Administrative & Front Office Support

  • Greet patients, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and warmth
  • Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and route calls efficiently with excellent phone etiquette
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and appointment coordination
  • Handle customer service inquiries via phone and email in a courteous and timely manner
  • Perform clerical tasks including scanning, filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and data entry
  • Maintain organized records and assist with bill payments and routine office management tasks
  • Monitor office supply inventory and help keep the workspace tidy and functional

Marketing & Community Outreach

  • Visit local referring dental offices to deliver materials and maintain professional relationships (mileage reimbursed)
  • Assist with digital marketing efforts, including updating social media platforms and supporting promotional campaigns
  • Help track basic marketing metrics and support outreach initiatives

Additional Support

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Support light bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software as needed
  • Assist with other daily operational tasks to support both clinical and administrative teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous administrative, office, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems, including email, spreadsheets, scanning, and office software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks is highly desirable
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry and document proofreading
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for local travel
