General Laborer

Position Type:  General Laborer

Location:  Pataskala, OH 

Schedule:  Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm; OT Friday 6am-2:30pm

1. (2) Paid 15-minute breaks + (1) 30-minute unpaid lunch

Pay:  Up to $20.50/hr (based on experience)

Job Summary:

Ideal candidate should have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities  include the following : 

1. Ability to learn and follow work instructions 

2. Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards 

3. Meet / Exceed production standards 

4. Excellent time management and communication skills 

5. Ability to work both independently and with a team 

6. Self-Motivated 

7. Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures 

8. Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology 

9. Makes recommendations to continually improve processes 

10. Performs other duties as assigned 

Primary Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred

2. Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

4. Basic mechanical aptitude (electrical, pneumatic, or thermal systems is a plus)

5. Ability to read work instructions and perform basic measurements (tape measure, etc.)

6. Strong communication and teamwork skills

7. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Ergonomic Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for extended periods

2. Ability to safely use power tools and equipment

3. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
