About Us:
One Hospitality is a locally owned and operated hospitality group based in Columbus, Ohio's Short North Arts District. We currently operate five restaurants and bars throughout Central Ohio, with three new venues opening in 2025. Our portfolio also includes collaborations in luxury housing and hotel accommodations. Our mission has always been clear: to deliver next-level service and exceptional experiences to our friends, family, and community. Responsibilities:
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of seasonal menus, featured items, and beverage offerings to guide guests through their dining experience with confidence and precision.
Provide elevated, personalized service to hotel guests and local patrons, ensuring a memorable and refined dining experience from arrival to departure.
Engage guests with genuine hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, and a warm, professional demeanor throughout the meal.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared section throughout the shift, including resetting tables, restocking server stations, and ensuring readiness for incoming guests.
Proactively communicate guest needs, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen and bar, taking ownership of challenges and collaborating with the team to ensure resolution.
Exhibit composure and adaptability in a high-energy, fast-paced environment—especially during rooftop events, peak dining hours, and high-volume evenings.
Demonstrate punctuality and reliability by arriving fully prepared and on time before each shift, ready to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications:
Previous serving experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant is required; strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail pairings is preferred.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional, attentive guest service in a fast-paced setting.
Maintains a consistently positive attitude and professional appearance that reflects the standards of the hotel, with strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods and moving at a consistent pace throughout the shift.
