POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and equipment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, cleanliness, and safety within the warehouse while also operating a motor vehicle to deliver materials to job sites, vendors, and branch locations as needed. The position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and supporting field and project personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment for accuracy and condition.
• Organize, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain order and accessibility.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for job sites, deliveries, and internal requests.
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment
• Operate company vehicles to safely deliver materials and equipment from the warehouse to job sites and other locations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and with proper documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Communicate inventory shortages, damages, or discrepancies to warehouse management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, driving, and warehouse operations.
• Support warehouse and field teams with additional tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles required.
• Experience driving box trucks or light-duty commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems and material handling processes preferred.
• Ability to read packing slips, delivery tickets, and basic job documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or inventory software preferred)

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.

• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

SALARY RANGE

$23-$28/ hr
