Position Type: Full time, First-shift, Monday Friday, hours will vary between 40-50 per week, paid weekly.

Location: Cleves, OH (on-site) Must be local

Reports to: Job Foreman

Job Summary:

As a Utility Crew Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems such as water, gas, sewer, and storm drainage pipelines. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and supporting skilled crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with digging trenches and preparing sites for pipe installation
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Help install, align, and secure pipes and related infrastructure
• Backfill and compact soil after pipe installation
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools as directed
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
• Support equipment operators and skilled tradespeople as needed

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year construction laborer experience; 2-3 years preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials
• Basic understanding of construction tools and safety practices
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethics

As underground utility specialists our crews install new sewers, water, and storm infrastructure from taps in the street to a new building. We also have extensive experience repairing underground infrastructure.
